Del Ray Artisans
Del Ray Artisans is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote art for the benefit of artists and the community.
The organization believes that by using art to reach out to the community as a whole, Del Ray Artisans helps build a stronger, more vital place to live and work.  Membership in the Del Ray Artisans is open to any person regardless of background.
Del Ray Artisans' mission is to foster a community of artists and art supporters who are a viable source for the development, teaching, and furtherance of appreciation of the arts through exhibits and events for members and the diverse populations in the City of Alexandria, the communities of Northern Virginia, and the greater Washington metropolitan area.

Del Ray Artisans is funded, managed, and operated by Arts Resource Foundation.

Del Ray Artisans
'Tis the Season: Holiday Market
Opens December 5-7

That time of year is quickly approaching, and the vendors are busy getting ready for the signature Holiday Market.  Original and affordable works of art from 17 participating vendors.  This year's one weekend market offers art and handmade crafts ranging from pottery to fused glass to jewelry to fabric to photography to wood turning and greeting cards. 

The opening reception is Friday, December 5, from 7-9:30 p.m.

 Gallery hours are:  Saturday, December 6, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., though gallery will remain open during and for a brieft time after the Del Ray tree light ceremony that takes place at 6 p.m. next to the gallery, and Sunday, December 7 from noon-4 p.m.
